Pura Luxe is an Amino Acid based Smoothing System. NO Formaledhyde and NO Toxic Fumes. Works on all hair types, including ethnic and chemically treated hair.
Straight, Smooth, Frizz Free, and Shiny Hair for up to 6 months. Clients should color or highlight hair anytime AFTER a Pura Luxe treatament as opposed to right before a PL treatment.
Pura Luxe Clients can come in for a touch up treatment (new growth roots) in between full treatments, without damaging their hair. The PL System offers 3 treatment options. These can be combined in order to create the ultimate Customized Pura Luxe Experience.
Pura Luxe Amino Acid VS Keratin Treatments:
How does a Pura Luxe Amino Acid Treatment work? The presence of amino acids in this smoothing treatment will create Keratin rich hair making it smooth, strong, shiny, and healthy which improves the condition of the hair with prolonged use. The Keratin protein is just one small part of the 18 amino acids which make up the actual hair structure. Cysteine, a nonessential amino acid, is the active ingredient that allows the Pura Luxe treatment to leave hair strong, shiny, and smooth. Pura Luxe is a much safer alternative to these traditional Keratin treatments.
How does a Keratin Treatment work? Keratin needs some form of formaledhyde in order for it to adhere to the hair and make it smooth.
A chemical reaction is formed and there is a release of toxic carcinogenic fumes, when this active ingredient / preservative is combined with the high flat iron heat. This reaction will also lead to hair breakage with prolonged use.

AFTERCARE – We recommend that the clients use a PL sulfate free shampoo as well as a deep conditioning PL hair mask at least once a week to ensure treatment longevity.
